David Oppenheim appointed as Senior Vice President, Analytics & Insights at IHG

David joins the team of professional scientists and will work under the responsibility of Claire Bennett, IHG's Global Marketing Director.

 Their mission is to improve strategic and tactical business decisions for all IHG brands and channels through data-driven decision making and development.

Claire Bennett, IHG's Global Marketing Director, commented:

Data and analysis play an increasingly important role in our customers' journey and in assessing marketing performance. Having the right data enables us to deliver more powerful experiences to our customers and build deeper relationships. We are delighted to have David, who has a wealth of expertise in this area, on board to help us take our work in this area forward and fully harness the power of data in everything we do.

David recently worked at Alaska Airlines as Vice President of Sales and Distribution. Prior to that, he held a number of positions at United Airlines, including leading the business analysis team. He is recognized for his analytical and intellectual rigor and extensive expertise in revenue generation in the travel industry. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group.
