Pierre-Frédéric Roulot, who has headed the group since 2007, has announced his departure and will be replaced by Federico J. González, who has headed the Radisson Hotel Group for the past six years. Both groups, owned by the Chinese Jin Jiang International, will be centralised in Paris.
Federico J. González, the new Chairman and CEO of Louvre Hotels Group, said: "I am delighted to open this new chapter with the entire Louvre Hotels Group team, with whom I am convinced we will continue to grow the company. Louvre Hotels Group is fully committed to building the future of the hotel industry by providing memorable guest experiences through innovative offerings, sustainable practices and quality services."
Federico J. González brings to the group more than 30 years of a career that began in marketing. He joined Disneyland Paris in 2004 as Deputy General Manager & Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales as well as President of Euro Disney Vacances. In 2013, he took over the management of the Spanish NH Hotel Group and joined Radisson Hospitality in March 2017. He became an independent member of the Sodexo Board of Directors in early 2021.
He will be responsible for the development and expansion of the brands in the Louvre Hotel Group portfolio, which are complementary to those of the group he already manages, as they are mainly positioned in the economy and midscale segments: Première Classe, Kyriad, Kyriad Direct, Campanile, Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip.
Mr González has also written three books: Living and Working Abroad, How to Live and Work with the Portuguese and How to succeed in doing business the Swedish way.
