Accor Unveils Key Appointments in Luxury & Lifestyle Division

Accor has unveiled appointments within its luxury & lifestyle division, signaling strategic changes in its executive leadership.

Gilda Perez-Alvarado, a seasoned professional with extensive academic training from Cornell University and IE Business School, brings two decades of experience from esteemed organizations like JLL. Having held the position of Global CEO at JLL Hotels & Hospitality, Gilda joined Accor in October 2023 as Chief Strategy Officer and will additionally take on the role of CEO at Orient Express from January 2024.

Maxime d'Angeac, an architect with a diverse portfolio, including collaborations with brands like Hermès and Lanvin, has been appointed as the Artistic Director of Orient Express. His approach and expertise in design and architecture bring a creative vision to the brand.

Omer Acar, known for his expertise in luxury hospitality gained through roles at Four Seasons and Katara Hospitality, will assume the role of CEO for Raffles and Fairmont from January 2024. Previously serving as CEO Raffles & Orient Express at Accor, Acar's wealth of experience positions him to lead these brands within the group.

These organizational changes, will be effective from January 1, 2024.
