In the run-up to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the City of Light is getting a makeover to proudly showcase France's colours on the international tourist scene. With new projects coming on stream, redeveloped districts, greening of streets and buildings and an expanded transport network, Paris is leaving no stone unturned to show off its best side. All these initiatives have also enabled the capital to retain its top spot on the podium of the world's most visited cities, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
