If there is a paradise for amateurs of farniente and water sports, there is no doubt that it resembles the Amanyara Hotel. Opened on March 1, 2006, the property marks the first incursion of the group Amanresorts in the Caribbean. It occupies no less than 40 hectares on one of the 49 islands that make up the archipelago that is very much in vogue in the Turks and Caicos islands. And not just any island: the Providenciales are considered one of the ten best snorkeling sites in the world thanks to its proximity to an exceptionally rich coral reef. The hotel has 40 "pond and ocean pavilions". Some are located on the edges of basins with a wood terrace that extends over the water, while others are perched on stilts along the Atlantic Ocean. Each pavilion is 116 sq.m and has two terraces. The construction of villas, which are even more spacious and offer dedicated personal service, is in the works. In addition to water and sports facilities, the presence of a spa, of a gastronomic shellfish restaurant and a library (books, newspapers, magazines, CDs and DVDs) complete this world of relaxation and pleasure where time stands still.
