Starwood takes Aloft brand to Brooklyn

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide’s select-service Aloft brand has opened in Brooklyn, the brand’s second hotel in New York City, joining Aloft Harlem.Featuring 176 loft-style guestrooms, Aloft New York Brooklyn is located adjacent to sister property Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel. The hotel, which is managed by Maryland-based Real Hospitality Group, is among the first properties to offer their automated check-in, which uses RFID technology to turn loyalty cards into keycards and enables guests to bypass the traditional check-in process.Featuring 176 loft-style guestrooms, Aloft New York Brooklyn is located adjacent to sister property Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel.
