After London and Paris, Tribute Portfolio finds a new address in Amsterdam

A new addition to Marriott International's portfolio, the brand just announced the upcoming opening of the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

The brand's new property is scheduled to join Marriott International's portfolio in April 2017, following a major renovation of its guestrooms, restaurant and public areas. The Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, will have 223 rooms and offer new meeting and event spaces, a fitness center as well as a spa. Located in the Oud-Zuid district where the famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum stand, the property is within easy reach of the lively De Pijp area.

Launched in 2015, Tribute Portfolio will thus join its third European capital after Paris and London. In the French capital, the brand operates the addresses Le Dokhan's (45 rooms) and Le Metropolitan (48 rooms), whereas the Great Northern Hotel (91 rooms) was chosen as its first unit along the River Thames. This first address in the Netherlands constitutes Tribute Portfolio's 28th opened or signed property.

Following its merger with Starwood Hotels, Marriott International ranked as the largest hotel group worldwide with 5,640 hotels totaling 1,108,852 rooms as of January 2016, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
