Radisson Collection brings the exceptional to Spain and France

Set on a palm-tree lined, pedestrian square, Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla recently opened its doors in Spain. This is Radisson Hotel Group’s first Radisson Collection hotel in Spain, with a second coming soon in Bilbao – both properties developed by Millenium Hospitality Real Estate. In the coming years, the brand arrives in France, with two Radisson Collection openings in the heart of the historic city centre of Lyon and the Bordeaux wine region.

Radisson Collection represents a collection of hotels united by bespoke design and incomparable experiences across dining, wellness and sustainability. The character of each Radisson Collection hotel feels authentic to its location, whether in Milan or Copenhagen.

The brand addresses the demands of our two main business stakeholders: the hotel owner and the guests, by providing a conversion brand which is guest- and experience-centric.

The launch of Radisson Collection in Seville is part of Radisson Hotel Group’s ambitious growth plan for Europe.

Being one of Spain’s most prestigious hotel projects for 2021, the design of Radisson Collection in Seville is elegant and draws inspiration from the city’s history and mix of architectural styles throughout its guest rooms and restaurants. With 89 rooms and suites, a rooftop pool and bar and two exclusive restaurants, the hotel has become a destination in itself and an unmissable stop for gastronomy lovers. Renowned Chef Eneko Atxa, who has been awarded five Michelin stars, has brought his Basque Eneko concept to the hotel. His informal, modern cuisine – a perfect trilogy of flavor, texture, and aesthetics – is based on traditional Basque recipes with local touches. Meanwhile, the hotel’s Justa Rufina restaurant, which is part of Azotea Grupo and overseen by Chef Manuel Berganza, includes a terrace on street level, a restaurant on the ground floor and a roof top terrace offering a relaxed cocktail bar.  

In France, guests can look forward to stunning Radisson Collection properties in Lyon and in Bordeaux, opening in 2022 and 2023 respectively. These openings underline the versatility of the brand, by offering a branding solution for existing hotels, which allows to attract business and MICE segment as well as the leisure traveler. 

The natural choice for bon vivants the world over, Lyon charms with rustic gastronomic delights, renovated riverfronts, and cobbled alleyways bustling with artisans and craftsmen. Here, in its Renaissance heart, the iconic Radisson Collection hotel, owned by Principal Real Estate Europe, will open its doors next year within a 14th-century traboule.

Relais de Margaux is a former 19th century wine château located along the Garonne River in the Margaux Vineyards, home of Bordeaux’s prestigious wineries. After an extensive investment plan, the hotel will convert to Radisson Collection in 2023.   

The Radisson Collection brand is the perfect match for these properties. We are thrilled to introduce our new lifestyle premium brand to France and are looking forward to growing our portfolio across the country with all of our brands. We will have various openings during the coming months, such as the  opening in Paris Clichy with Radisson Individuals and a new Radisson Blu in Malo-les-Bains.
