The group that owns the luxury hotel brand Amanresorts will change its course with the departure of its Chairman and CEO, who will be replaced by Johan Eliasch and Vladislav Doronin.
Adrian Zecha decided to bring his work as Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, the group that owns the luxury hotel brand Amanresorts that he founded in 1988. Just a little over a year ago, by mobilizing $300 million with his partners, he regained control over his group, which he had previously sold to the Indian fund DFL. Continuing this action will be Johan Eliasch, a renowned expert in brand strategy, as Chairman, and Vladislav Doronin, real estate promoter and now primary shareholder in the group, as CEO.
"We are grateful for Adrian Zecha's outstanding achievements and we are committed to extending his legacy to build on Amanresorts' foundation as a luxury global resort brand," Johan Eliasch said. "As someone who is very familiar with the distinctive Aman experience, I am excited to take on this role as Chairman."
