At a General Assembly held on the 16 and 17 of March, AccorHotels’ franchisees expressed their willingness to renegotiate the conditions of the contract that binds them to the hotel group.
At the Global Lodging Forum, an event gathering industry professionals this April 10 and 11, the president of the Association of Accor’s Franchisees, Arnaud Fayet, spoke about his current vision of the franchise model and said on that occasion: "The right way forward is to find a constructive debate and to revive the brand's added value. Today, we are questioning ourselves about the importance of the brand. It is important to find a customer experience that makes you dream. We want added value and a strong operating account. We want to get value for our money.”
The association, founded in 2014, has a mission to represent franchisees under the various AccorHotels brands and encourage dialogue with the group. It now has 306 members that own more than 875 properties in France.
