2007 : A record year for Scandic

Now independent from the Hilton group, Scandic Hotels has reported total revenues increased by 10.3% to €720.5m and profits by 19% to a record €102.9m. The 114 hotels, totalling 20,700 rooms, reached of 65% of occupancy rate. “The increased demand for hotel rooms resulted in higher room rates”, explains Frank Fiskers, Scandic's President & CEO. “Development was strong in all of our markets, especially in the larger cities and after having signed 11 new hotels since October of last year, we strongly believe in our plan of having 200 hotels in operation and under development by the end of 2011.”Now independent from the Hilton group, Scandic Hotels has reported total revenues increased by 10.3% to €720.5m and profits by 19% to a record €102.9m.
