The members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) met one last time today to formalize the organization of the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.
The French delegation in Lima was notably comprised of Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, and Laura Flessel, Sports minister, as well as Olympic champion Tony Estanguet. The organization of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2024 was a major stake for the city and the French government. However, the benefits will be spread out over time and most certainly only evident after a few years.
Georges Panayotis, President and Founder of MKG Group, announced this summer that "with the advancement of the Olympics and real estate projects, Paris should be able to benefit from a new and modernized hotel supply that will support future tourism growth."
