Slo Living Hostel, a new generation youth hostel, and the eco-friendly 1 Hotels group will settle in the 13th district of Paris as part of the "Aurore" project developed by the real estate company La Compagnie de Phalsbourg. Located near the François Mittérand Library, the two properties will be part of a 12,700 m2 building with atypical architecture mixing wood, bronze and greenery and designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates and Marchi architects. The latter will also house a new cabaret concept as well as a co-working coffee house.
This is the first implantation of the upscale and eco-friendly 1 Hotels group in Europe. This new property will offer 140 rooms as well as a restaurant with panoramic view and a gym.
As for the Slo Living Hostel, it will offer 179 beds. Launched in 2014 in Lyon, this new generation brand managed by the New Nomads group offers a hybrid and contemporary hostel model. As a reminder, it received the Best Innovation in hotel concept – deployed concept award at the Worldwide Hospitality Awards 2015.
