Amari enters Indonesian market

The ONYX group's Amari brand is entering the Indonesian market after being appointed to operate a property on the island of Bali for the Amari Pecatu, expected to open its doors in 2015.

The ONYX group has entered into a joint venture between STA Group Property Division and PR Bali Pecatu Graha to operate the Amari Pecatu in Bali. The operation of the establishment marks the Amari brand's introduction to the Indonesian market.Amari Pecatu will be part of the 400-hectare Pecatu Indah Resort development. The property will include a shopping mall, conference venues to hold up to 12 000 guests, and already houses an18-hole golf course.ONYX President and CEO, Peter Henley, describes the large-scale venture as a significant milestone for the group; "We look forward to the exciting times ahead as we work closely with our partners to support the on-going development of Pecatu as a vibrant tourism destination in Bali", he continues.
