Access to this site implies full acceptance of the following: This service is governed by these General Terms of Sales (hereinafter referred to as GTS), to the exclusion of any other document or condition. Any purchase from the Website implies full and unreserved acceptance of the GTS and the Terms of use (follow this link to read the Terms of Use).

Access to this site

Access to this site and its use are reserved for personal use only. Access to the site is available 24 / 7, except in cases of force majeure or an event beyond the control of Alcyon. The website is subject to possible breakdowns and maintenance necessary for the proper functioning of the Site. Access to service is done from a PC connected to a telecommunications network allowing access to the site by the communication protocols used on the Internet network.

Subscription

You can subscribe to Hospitality ON and Hospitality ON Magazine online. Different subscription offers are available through the Subscription page of the site.

Upon termination of your membership during the year, no refund will be made. It is possible to give us the details of the person who could benefit from your subscription.

If you choose for the magazine subscription, please note that the magazines are delivered to the address provided listed in your personal space, please check that you added properly and give you all the information necessary for the correct delivery of your order. Schedules and delivery times are usually practiced by the postal service, Hospitality ON declines any responsibility in case of failure and / or delayed delivery of magazines caused by a total or partial failure of the postal service.

In case of change of address or non-receipt of the magazine, it is imperative to change your address in your personal space or notify us within 15 days (by email: websales@hospitality-on.com or phone +33 (0) 1 56 56 87 77). We can not be held responsible for non-receipt of your magazines. In any case, we will refund the subscription.

 

Advertising

Visible advertisements on Hospitality ON site are presented in dedicated inserts. It consists on communication media available to advertisers wishing to communicate on the site. The advertisements displayed on the site will be controlled by our team before being posted, Hospitality ON reserves the right to refuse at any time. The following conditions govern the advertisements on the site.

1 - Any order to insert an advertisement implies the acceptance of our general terms of sales and payment.

2 - Confirmation of the order by the editor binds the two parties by contract.

3 - Acceptance by the editor of an advertisement order only gives to the advertiser the right to occupy the reserved space.

4 - In the event of an order's cancellation by the advertiser or their representative, a four-weeks notice is requested.

5 - Any significant modification of an order shall result, if it occurs, in a lower or higher adjustment of the price based on the rate.

6 - If the announcer uses an advertising agency, hereafter referred to as "the proxy", the latter must have received a written mandate by the announcer. The advertiser is liable for the payment of the order to the editor, even if the proxy is responsible for the financial transaction.

7 - The announcer frees the editor of all liability that may incur from the advertisement inserts that it published by order, will compensate it for all the damages that it incurs, and guarantees it against all action by a third party with regards to these inserts.

8 - In conformance with customary press practice, the editor is free to refuse the insertion of an advertisement, without it being necessary for him to justify his refusal. Visible advertisements service  Hospitality ON reject any advertising insert that seem contrary to good morals, moral or commercial interests of the company, or that would violate the current laws and regulations. All advertising insert likely to shock, disturb readers and found to insulting, defamatory or discriminatory or that is contained in the ad lists provided irregularly will be refused.

9 - An insert cannot be shared by several announcers (even if they have the same proxy).

10 - Technical constraints: The announcer will mail all technical elements according to the specifications mentioned by the editor. All additional work will be billed. In the event that the colour proofs are not delivered within the deadline, elements of the previous advertisement will be used. 

11 -Billing is made in the name of the announcer or in the name of the announcer's proxy, by the order of and for the announcer. The announcer either receives the original of the bill, or the second original if it hired a proxy. The announcer is, for all purposes, responsible for payment of the advertisement order under the rate conditions.

12 -Advertisements must take place before the publication of the ad insertion on the site.

13 - Late payment - penalties: any late payment with regards to the deadline will automatically and legally, without notice, have the following effects: · the suspension of the execution of all orders made by the announcer concerned · the payment of all outstanding and billed sums · the suspension of the professional discounts in the event that they have been granted, · the payment before publication of any order or acknowledgement of any advertisement order upon the simple request of the editor.

14 - Litigation: any complaints must be made within one week following the insertion or will be denied. By express convention between the parties, it is stipulated that in the event of litigation, the Paris Commercial Court is the only competent body.

15 - Limit of editor's responsibility: the editor is freed from his obligation to publish the advertisement of the client following the occurrence of any accident or force majeure, of circumstances having an external cause, such as any act from a third party independent of the editor's personnel, and the inability directly or by the intermediary of a third party to meet his obligations. Under these circumstances, any delay or default in publication cannot be grounds for the cancelling of the order or lead to damages and interests.

16 - Alcyon cannot be held responsible for violations of rights of use from an image, a sound or a video sent by the client. In these circumstances, any delay or failure to publish may not justify the cancellation of the order or give rise to damages. In any event, the total term of monetary compensation by the publisher can not be greater than the amount of the price of publication of the advertisement paid for by the customer.

REGISTRATIONS TO ATTEND OUR EVENTS : "WORLDWIDE HOSPITALITY AWARDS" "TOURINVEST FORUM" AND THE "GLOBAL LODGING FORUM"

The number of places being limited, Hospitality ON reserves the right to give priority to its clients and partners.

As soon as the registration form is duly signed, the payment must be received upon invoice reception, prior to the event taking place.

Cancellation/replacement policies : No refunds will be made for cancellations received. If you are unable to attend, a substitute would be welcomed with no extra-charge.

Authorisations: The register attendee(s) allow(s) Hospitality ON to publish the movies / pictures taken during the Worldwide Hospitality Awards ceremony and the Global Lodging Forum.

 

Modalities of subscription

The validation by the customer of his order implies acceptance of these general terms of sales and terms of use fully and without reservation. Hospitality ON reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a payment dispute without him being able to claim any compensation in any capacity whatsoever. Customer acknowledges that data stored on the Site constitutes proof of the transaction and data stored by the system of payment described below, the evidence of the financial transaction.

The payment and the prices

You must create an account and complete all the information in your personal space in order to make purchases on the site.

The prices are those posted on the website the day of the registration of the order, Hospitality ON reserves the right to modify the prices at any time. They are indicated in Euros all taxes included (Except otherwise stated). All orders are payable in Euros. Promotional offers are only valid for the duration of the offer. The promotions can not be combined. They can not be exchanged against their monetary value or be refunded in part or in full. After the period indicated, the promotion will be permanently lost.

Alcyon reserves the right to modify, in whole or part at any time these terms and conditions of sale. It is therefore the user's responsability to refer regularly to the latest version of the terms of sales and use and conditions which are continuously available on this site. The user is deemed to accept this latest version for each new service connection. The Terms are subject to French law. In case of dispute, French courts will have jurisdiction and the Only French versions of the Terms of sales and Terms of use will be taken into account in case of misunderstanding of the English version.
